The service

E4 Chess Trainer is a personal chess-coaching product: lesson plans, homework, progress tracking, and an AI coach that explains ideas in plain language — never engine evaluations, never shaming.

The AI coach is a teaching aid alongside a human coach's methodology, not a replacement for the coach–student relationship, and not a chess engine giving you the "best move."

Accounts and eligibility

A student account for anyone under 18 must be created and managed by a parent or guardian. AI-coaching features stay off for a minor's account until a guardian approves them by email, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

Use the service for its purpose: learning and coaching chess. Do not attempt to bypass consent controls, extract other users' data, or use the AI coach to generate content unrelated to chess coaching.

Pricing

There is no purchase flow in the product today. If and when paid plans launch, this page will be updated first, and nothing will be charged without that update being live.

Availability and changes

We may update features, this page, or the Privacy Policy as the product develops. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page.

Liability

The service is provided as-is, without guaranteeing it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The AI coach is a teaching tool: its explanations should be read alongside, not instead of, your human coach's guidance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
